2009 has been a great year so far. Our students have excelled in all areas and the implementation of the School Wide Positive Support Program (SWPBS) has been an outstanding success.

Student satisfaction with their own safety at school and the behaviour of their classmates has risen dramatically in recent years. Our student satisfaction in these areas was flagged as significantly above the state average in the 2008 School Opinion Survey. SWPBS has added to this in 2009.

We are all very proud of our School Captains, Ali, Tom, Josh and Shelby who lead the ANZAC Day Commemoration in Brisbane in April. In front of 3000 students, Her Excellency the Governor of Queensland and other distinguished guests, they delivered speeches and poems in honour of the ANZACs. This was a huge honour for our school.

We have significant new building work and facilities upgrades occurring at the moment. These, combined with our state of the art computer lab and magnificent hall, enable us to provide a wonderful learning environment. Our very experienced and enthusiastic staff works closely with each other to plan and implement quality learning experiences for all children.

We are now taking enrolments for our Prep classes for 2010. If you have a child born between 01 July 2004 and 30 June 2005, contact the office for an enrolment package. If you are moving to the area next year, contact us so we can send you an enrolment package as well.
