Outside School Hours Care

Bli Bli OSHC offer a safe and caring environment for primary age children after school and during school holidays. It is run by qualified, experienced professional childcare staff. We are located on the school grounds next to the music room. We are designed to complement the school day and provide an opportunity for children to relax and play in a supervised environment.

After School Care (ASC) operates every day from 3pm until 6pm
Vacation Care (VC) operates every day during school holidays and on pupil free days from 8am until 6pm
The cost of ASC is $11.50 per child per afternoon with a sliding scale used for families
The cost for Vacation Care is $24.50 a full day and $12.25 a half day per child.
Parents should note that fees can be significantly reduced once they have registered for Child Care Benefit with the Family Assistance Office.
Preschool pick-ups can be arranged for children who are of school age (5).

Conditions

* Children may attend the program ONLY if an enrolment form has been completed by the parent/guardian and been accepted by the Co-ordinator.
* No responsibility for a child will be accepted until the Co-ordinator or another staff member has signed the child in for ASC. In the case of VC the parent/guardian must sign the child in.
* Children suffering from infectious or contagious illnesses must be kept away from ASC and VC.
* 24 hours notification of non-attendance for permanent bookings must be given prior to enrolled day. If no notification is received, normal daily fees will apply.
* If a child is to attend on a casual basis, the name of the child must be phoned through to the school office on the day of attendance or arrangements made with the Co-ordinator prior to the day. Parents can call OSHC direct and leave a message.
* If a child is not collected at closing time, the emergency numbers will be phoned and suitable arrangements made for the collection of the child. In the event hat the emergency numbers are not answered or the parent has advised the Co-ordinator of an emergency which has delayed the collection of the child, then a late fee will be charged. The late fee (per family) is $15 from 6pm to 6.15pm, then $20 per every 15 minutes (or part thereof) after 6.15pm. Parents who are habitually late will have their child's place in the program declared vacant.
* Children must be signed out with the parent/guardian's signature and time of departure.
* Fees are to be paid on a weekly basis. Fortnightly or monthly payment arrangements can be made with the Co-ordinator.
* Non-payment of fees will result in your child's place in the ASC program being declared vacant.
* Consent forms must be signed for every excursion.
* Disruptive children - The committee, through the Co-ordinator, reserves the right to remove a child from the program is he/she grossly disturbs the proper functioning and desired atmosphere of the ASC or VC program.
